After a start at the ski station of La Bresse Hohneck you can warm up with the ascent of the Col des Feignes and enjoy a tour around the cross-country skiing domain of Lispach and its beautiful lake. After a short passage in La Bresse the climbs will come thick and fast. They are short and steep with some arduous gradients.
You will consecutively climb the Croix des Moinats (891m), the Col de Hayes (875m), the Col de Morbieux (791m) and finally the Mont de Fourche (620m), via the so-called ‘route de la colline’. However, for this tour you won’t just need your smallest gear. After a tough start you will reach Plombières les Bains, where you will find a much-welcomed supply post.
The next 50 km will be much smoother on your way to Remiremont with obstacles such as the Col de la Demoiselle and the Pas de l’Âne. The respite will be brief, because the final stages are promising to be a real challenge. It’s full steam ahead on the Haut du Tôt. To get to the top on 863m you will have to overcome percentages of 10 percent and more! And then, you arrive on the final re-supply. And then, you arrive on the final re-supply After a fast descent to Rochesson it’s time for the next climb on the Col de la Grosse Pierre (954m). Once you make your way back to La Bresse, the final obstacle of the day awaits: nine kilometres of false flats on your way to the ski station of La Bresse Hohneck (898m).
