The 142 km course of the Mediofondo is perfect for those who want to optimally prepare for the event. On this truncated course you will also find all the main challenges of the Granfondo.
After a start at the ski station of La Bresse Hohneck you can warm up with the ascent of the Col des Feignes and enjoy a tour around the cross-country skiing domain of Lispach and its beautiful lake. After a short passage in La Bresse the climbs will come thick and fast. They are short and steep with some arduous gradients. You will consecutively climb the Croix des Moinats (891m), the Col de Hayes (875m), the Col de Morbieux (791m) and finally the Mont de Fourche (620m), via the so-called ‘route de la colline’. Make sure to choose your gears wisely, because you won’t get much of a breather. Via the Col du Peutet (645m) you are going straight to Remiremont for the same arduous finish as the Granfondo with the Haut du Tôt. To get to the top on 863m you will have to overcome percentages of 10 percent and more! The next climb is the Col de la Grosse Pierre (954m). Once you make your way back to La Bresse, the final obstacle of the day awaits: nine kilometres of false flats on your way to the ski station of La Bresse Hohneck (898m).
